Frenship FCCLA Students Promote Healthy Lifestyles

Two Frenship High School FCCLA students organized and hosted a health and wellness fair during the lunch periods at the high school today.

Brooke Pugh, Vice President and Reagan Erculiani, Secretary of FCCLA invited community members and business owners representing the fitness, health and wellness industries to set up booths to talk to passing students. OrangeTheory Fitness, Elite Fitness Studio, Obstacle Warrior Kids and mental health counselors, Kayli Cross and Meagan Daniels, were present at the event.

“Our project focuses on health and wellness for our student body,” said Erculiani. “We set it up so that students could visit with these experts and get resources to help them live better lifestyles.”

The message doesn’t stop at the fair as the FCCLA students plan to visit elementary schools this spring with the same information.

“We love making a difference in kids’ lives,” said Carisa Quintanilla, FCCLA member. “We enjoy being involved in teaching kids about their health and wellness.”
