Frenship High School band members are participating in three Collaboration Clinics at each of the three Frenship middle schools over the next two weeks.
Both the FHS Honor Band and Symphonic Band are spending time rehearsing with the middle school band students on their UIL contest music. This allows the HS students to collaborate with the MS students and mentor them as they rehearse their music.
“It’s a great way for our high school students to interact with the students who will be in the high school band within the next couple of years,” said Scott Carter, Associate Director of Bands. “We play some of our music, and help them work on their music. So they get to see a little bit of what the high school experience will be like.”
The high school bands will have their final Collaboration Clinic on January 28 at Heritage MS.
