Frenship ISD is proud to announce that Frenship High School soccer player Krysta Mathis is signing a national letter of intent with the Lubbock Christian University. She signed her intent during a ceremony on Tuesday in the Frenship High School library.

Mathis is a leader of the Tiger offense with 13 goals scored at this point of the season. Frenship is on pace to qualify for the playoff again in 2016.

Mathis was an Academic All-State selection in 2015, and was also selected as the district’s Newcomer of the Year in her freshman season.

Mathis joins a Lubbock Christian University program led by head coach Alex Denning. Her head coach at Frenship High School is Gery Joy.
