The performance is free to the public and is student-led with both seventh and eighth grade students.
On Dec. 7, seventh and eighth grade students at Heritage Middle School will perform “The Princess Capers,” a play about five princesses after their “happily ever after,” after preparing and practicing since September.
To audition, the students had to prepare a one minute monologue as well as callbacks before being selected as the cast and crew.
The performance is student-led and the main set was painted by students on backdrops made from wood and PVC pipe.
Come see the five princesses as they are living their now boring lives when the rap goddess Delusia starts taking the youth from all of the children in the land with a twist at the end.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
