Frenship used a dominating third quarter and strong free throw shooting down the stretch to bring home the Bi-District championship trophy with a 51-42 win versus El Paso El Dorado Tuesday in Andrews.
Coming out of the halftime break tied at 24, the Tigers outscored the Aztecs 17-8 in the third quarter. Airron Gaydon sparked the run by knocking down two three-point shots, and Leandra Sepeda buried one from deep during the scoring run to build a 41-32 lead.
